Usha, Chris, and Adam joined a thought-provoking seminar today exploring the future of Bristol's existing office stock. The event considered what the foundations might be for a successful office retrofit, and when you might consider refurbishment over redevelopment. Architects from Stride Treglown presented a number of interesting case studies involving change of use, including residential and student accommodation, and panellists from Legal & General Investment Management and office agency CSquared presented interesting perspectives on the challenges and opportunities associated with renovating existing buildings. This event was the latest in the series “Shaping Future Places”, hosted by Stride Treglown in collaboration with Design West.
