Usha attended the Sustainable urban Drainage System (SuDS) workshop organised by Women in Property South West, hosted by Kevin Barton of Robert Bray Associates and sponsored by The Hill Group. Kevin provided an insightful overview of the evolution of sustainable drainage in the UK, challenging conventional approaches and encouraging a rethink of priorities when selecting SuDS solutions. He shared creative, real-world examples of projects integrating various SuDS techniques and led an engaging group activity, where participants designed drainage strategies, considering key factors such as site topography, natural water flow, and landscape integration.
